BIO

I am an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the Department of Information Systems at the University of Haifa.

My academic journey began with the completion of my BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Software and Information Systems Engineering at Ben-Gurion University (BGU). Following my doctoral studies, I pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the Research Center for Information Systems Engineering (LIRIS) at KU Leuven (KUL).

My main research interests are in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and natural language processing, and their applications in the areas of user modeling, computational criminology, and recommender systems.

I am always looking for talented and ambitious Ph.D. and MSc students, so if you are interested in one of my research topics please contact me.
